Do you think that volent video games make kids violent?

I think that people in general are influence by almost everything around them. For childreen it's even more so, because their like a rather blank sheet of paper. I dont believe that solely playing a violent video game will transform a kid into a killer. I believe that a violent video game will influence a kid immensely. Parents send their kids to school in other o influence the right attitude in them. If a person is in a calming environment they tend to be rather calmer then other in a hectic one. Those example reveil that what we see, hear, eat or sense will influence a person. I believe in individuality just because a game affect me in a certain does not mean another person will be affect in the same way. But the point is that we will both be influenced and we will each react to it in a different way. To conclude my thoughts violent games does not guarantee a violent kid much like nonviolent games does not guarantee a nonviolent kid. I beleive that a violent act has deeeper roots then a violent video games, though it certainly does not help reduce the erge for violence.

What are your plans for the weekend?

I plan to work on saturday and go to church on sunday. I am much more excited about going to church then work. But I do have to work, since no one has yet volunteer to buy me a car. On sunday evening I will be at church once more for a youth meeting. Hopefully i will be able to make it on time since the youth leader gave a speech about last sunday. I really want to turn in some movies to the library since they are due on saturday. I might not be able to do that because im working on a bad time. I hope something unexpectedly good happen during this weekend. Mostly my plans are to make it through the weekend, hopefully God has the same plan. I guess I'll find out on monday.

Do you think schools should give the Fcat?

The fact is if they remove the Fcat they ill only replace it with something else. I would rather suggest that they dont determine so much with the results. Giving the Fcat little less importance would be the best solution. A kid that works hard in class should not have to depend solely on the Fcat in other to graduate. How good a school is should also not be determined on wether or not students passed the fcat. I believe that a principal's effort or effectiveness at running a school cannot simply be determine by the Fcat. The school board leave it to the Fcat to decide just about anything in school. They would rather take the easier way, rather then putting effort into figuring out what really goes on in school. The Fcat itself is not the worst thing in the world, no matter how students complain. There is too much pressure put on students and teachers to leave up to the expectation of the Fcat.

If you were stranded on an island. what 3 things would you bring? why?

If I was stranded on an Island I would bring Bible, those self heating army food, and a knife. I would bring the self heating army food because i hate anything raw. I dont really fancy having a cold meal as well so I would really appreciate them. Im pretty sure that the heating pouch would be able to start a fire, thus keeping me warm. I would bring a knife because that is how I would build my home away from home. It has to be a sword type knife, very sharp that would be great for maybe buillduing a boat. Of course, I would bring my bible because God can get you out of any bad situation. I believe that is the most important items on my list. If God wants to intervene then I would not need any of those two other things. These are the item I would bring with me, but im very unadventurous so I doubt I will ever need them.
